In View of Eternity....

Looking for a better life?  God offers us the gift of eternal life.  You can know for sure that if you died today you would spend eternity with God in heaven!  God's Word reveals the way.

Recognize your condition.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)  No one is good enough to enter into heaven.  In spite of all our efforts, we still fall short of God's standard.

Realize the penalty of sin.

"For the wages of sin is death;" (Romans 6:23a)  Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for sin.  The penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called hell.

Believe Christ died for you.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)  Christ proved His great love for us when He died on the cross to destroy the condemning power of sin.

Trust in Christ alone as your Savior.

"But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23b)  "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  (Romans 10:13) Everlasting life is a gift made possible by the shed blood of Jesus and offered freely to all who call upon Him in faith.

To accept Jesus as your Savior, submit yourself to Christ and pray the following to Him:

I know that I am a sinner.  Please forgive me, I believe that you sent your Son to die for me, and I believe He rose from the dead.  I ask You, Jesus, to forgive me of my sin and save me from hell.  I trust You, and You alone, to take me to heaven when I die.  In Jesus' name, Amen.
