Pastor Bruce Freeman was born and raised in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. However, he was saved and called to preach in Charlotte, North Carolina in October 1978. The following year he moved to Winston-Salem to attend Piedmont Bible College and graduated 6 years later with a degree in Theology. In the fall of 1983 he moved to Yadkinville, North Carolina to organize and charter Peace Haven Baptist Church as founding Pastor. The ministry has grown to over 650 members and now reaches the Piedmont of North Carolina and all of North America through “Faith Lift,” the television outreach that touches millions every week.

Pastor Freeman is an anointed preacher with a burden for revival in the hearts of God’s people. He preaches with clarity and conviction to reach the lost and edify the body of Christ.

Pastor Freeman is married to Cindy his wife of 29 years. They reside in Yadkinville, NC and have two daughters. Their oldest daughter Marsha is married to Josh Thompson and they reside in Winston-Salem, NC. Their youngest daughter Mandy resides in Clemmons, NC. The Freeman family sings together and often travels with Pastor Bruce to Revival Meetings, Bible Conferences and other special meetings.

Besides preaching, reading, and ministering to people, Pastor Freeman enjoys sports, is an avid golfer, and pulls for his beloved St. Louis Cardinals during baseball season and the Dallas Cowboys during football season.
